It's easy to fall for such trick even if you are an absolutely rational guy, especially if she produces some documents, like a passport with a US visa. She does not ask for money, she says she has the visa and the money for the ticket.

No matter how reasonable they might seem to you, any money requests are absurd and inappropriate. You by no means are encouraged to become cynical, paranoid, or scared.You have just discovered someone that seems so right for you. You are in love, and ready to put the whole world to your foreign darling's feet. And you do want to know about her inner feelings for you, right? The girls' English might be poor, but it does not prevent them from being very convincing in their emails. They might simply imply it by complaining about how tough they have it. By complying with them you are setting yourself up for a big fall. There is no need to be distrustful of all foreign women seeking their love over the Internet.
